Due to the recent economic climate it has become increasingly difficult to run Kook Wear at anything but a loss. This has strained the original three founders and is taking us away from our original goal of selling light hearted, good for the environment, and high quality clothing. As of immediately, Kook Wear, LLC is no longer in business. It has been a sweet jouney, Pura Vida.
Kook Wear is was an environmentally friendly brand of clothing geared towards the action sports enthusiast. All of our clothing is eco-conscious and is made from 100% organic cotton or a blend of organic cotton, hemp, and bamboo. We use water based inks that do not contain any harsh chemicals or resins. On top of all that, we use absolutely 0% sweatshop labor and the shipping packaging is as minimalistic as possible. We realized there's more of a chance to influence the world through these clothes than any other way; this is our chance to be creative and put some substance behind all this talk of preserving the environment.
